This episode, we’re all about covers. I’ve been amassing a nice collection of artists in terms of who has give their permission to play their music on the podcast. That has allowed us to pick from their collection of recordings and play some of the covers that they’ve done of other various bands from the past.
- The Dandy Warhols – hells bells
- Local H – 25 or 6 to 4
- Nada Surf – if you leave
- Mates of State – these days
- Lou Barlow – round and round
- Matthew Good Band – enjoy the silence

Forgot to mention the Matt’s covering Daniel Johnston’s “True Love Will Find You In The End” and Dead Kennedys’ “Moon Over Marin” (which I always get stuck in my head) on the forthcoming album, Hospital Music. Good show, babe.
Great stuff…my favorite covers are Bowling For Soup’s rendition of ‘I Ran (So Far Away)’ and Derek & The Domino’s (I’m showing my age here) version of ‘Little Wing.’
great show, I think this type of show should spread across the podcast world…
mad respect you go out for the permission…something that carries so much weight and so easy to do…much respect
